It was 1969 when we made the world’s first quilted horse rug in the village of Lavenham, Suffolk. It was fit for purpose and of the highest quality, and our first gilet and jacket quickly followed. Since then, we have applied the same principles of quality and craftmanship to a range of different functional items, and our tote bags are no exception.
Large enough to be used for an overnight bag, this oversized tote features two handle lengths so it can be worn over the shoulder or across the body.
Crafted from a dry waxed cotton supplied by Halley Stevensons of Scotland who have been making waxed cotton since 1864, we’ve quilted it into a 2” square pattern, with our signature Lavenster on the inside face of the quilt.
With one exterior pocket and a large interior pocket great for holding a laptop, we’ve finished with a press stud fastening and our signature Lav tab branding on the seam.
We have extended our returns period to 45 days over the festive season.
