The gilet was the first garment to leave the Lavenham factory – right after the world’s first quilted nylon horse rug – and we have loved to play with the wardrobe staple ever since.
A fresh take for spring summer 2021, we’ve paired our signature Lavenster 2” diamond quilt with a cotton loopback jersey, the kind traditionally used for sweatshirts, and added a taped seam for durability and texture.
With a lighter wadding weight, this gilet is the ideal spring layering piece and can be worn under jackets or over tee shirts as the weather changes. Finished with two patch pockets, jersey binding and our Lav tab branding on the pocket.
