Once again we've teamed up with like minded Japanese factory brand Jackman, to create a capsule of vintage sportswear inspired pieces that reflect the design principles of of both our respective brands.
Founded in Japan in 1949 by baseball fanatic Mitsugu Tanabe, their factory has been producing American sportwear inspired clothing to an exacting standard for over 70 years. Every Jackman collection pay homage to baseball origins of the brand (the first product made at the TANABE MERIYASU knitting factory were baseball socks with three weft knitting machines) and our collaboration is no exception with this easy wearing, versatile gilet.
Jackman on the inside - we've used their signature big waffle heavy cotton fabric - and Lavenham on the outside, with Lavenster quilted in a 2" diamond pattern.
Easy to wear and with a regular fit, this casual gilet looks great over a sweater for added warmth, and the absence of a collar allows it to be layered comfortably under a heavier winter coat. Finished with two patch pockets and one inner pocket for practicality.
Inner: Jackman made in Japan 'Big Waffle' cotton
Outer: Lavenham made in England quilted 'Lavenster' polyester
