The latest instalment of our ongoing collaboration with Japanese factory brand Jackman, we’ve once again taken trademark elements from both our brands and brought them together in a gilet.
Founded in Japan in 1949 by baseball fanatic Mitsugu Tanabe, their factory has been producing American sportwear inspired clothing to an exacting standard for over 70 years. Every Jackman collection pay homage to baseball origins of the brand (the first product made at the TANABE MERIYASU knitting factory were baseball socks with three weft knitting machines) and our collaboration is no exception with this easy wearing, versatile gilet.
Jackman’s signature ‘big waffle’ heavy cotton jersey lines the inside of the gilet providing an ultra soft interior and added insulation, whilst our 2” diamond quilted Lavenster makes up the outside of the gilet. This season we’ve gone with a bomber inspired silhouette finished with a button front fastening, welt pockets and a ribbed collar.
Easy to wear and with a regular fit, this casual gilet looks great over a sweater whilst the weather is still mild, but can be layered under a heavier coat once the temperature drops.
Fits true to size - size up for a looser fit.
